BEAUTY

So...I've been getting quiet a few questions about my make-up routine. I'm warning you ahead:
I'm no MAC genius, never took a make-up lesson in my life and just like everyone, I've made
myself look whack a couple of times throughout the years.
Maybe the last part wasn't too smart of me to share, but at least I'm honest.
If you're waiting for something spectacular that will change your look
completely, I advise you to stop reading this post and head over to youtube.
If this is not the case, I advise you to keep on scrolling down.

1. Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Creme
I've used a ton of different creams before, this one's nothing special
either, but I love how it soaks in instantly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling.
2. Laura Mercier oil free foundation primer
This is the first step, dab it on equally after your moisturizer has soaked in.
I'd emphasis equally unless you feel like looking blotchy.
3.Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with spf 20
I use this during the day instead of foundation. It's much lighter, feels
and looks much more natural .

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15
I use this mainly if I go out at night or when my skin isn't cooperating avec moi
and need some extra coverage.

1.Bobbi Brown Powder
2. Sephora Brush
Be careful not to dab too much powder on the brush! Apply equally all over your face
and don't forget to even it out at your neckline!

1.Bobbi Brown shimmer bronzer in Bali Brown
2. Sephora Brushes
Get a little bit of the darker bronzer on your cheekbones and then blend in with the large brush

1. Anastasia Brow Pen
As my dear friend Ina once said "Eyebrows are the key to your soul".
Joke aside, fill in your eyebrows for some shape and color.
2. Maybelline eye liner
Just get a tiny, tiny, (minuscule) thin line on the outer corner of your eyes
3. L'Oreal Extra-Volume Collagene Mascara
4. Benefit They're Real Mascara
I apple the L'Oreal first and then go over with a second layer of Benefit
for extra volume. As much as I emphasize my top lids, I only put a little
on the bottom ones, don't like black smudge under my eyes or looking like a doll
from a 60's horror movie: Twiggy's Eyelashes Return
You got the point.

1. Urban Decay De Slick make-up setting spray
Even if your skin isn't oily, this thing keeps everything you just smeared on
in the last ten minutes of your precious time.
2. IMPORTANTE (Read in a spanish accent)
CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES!! I REPEAT!! CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES!!
It's super important not to get all the previous dirt and bacteria on your precious face!
I recommend this one, takes about ten seconds every day.
Sephore Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner

And last but not least, the hairbrushes.
Both are KENT brushes.
(Available at Neorli in Regiposta utca)
A good quality brush is essential to keeping your hair healthy and shiny!
These generally last me 2-3 months, but I clean them by soaking them
in mild soapy water for 20 minutes each week. It's the same scenario
as the make-up brushes. Don't get un-neccessary dirt in your hair either!

I know that some of these products aren't the cheapest ones out there, but If I've learned one thing,
it's to NEVER be stingy when it comes to what you put on your face or products you use for your hair!

PS: I do apologize about image quality, my camera was feeling just as depressed about the crap
weather as I have, therefore decided not to function, so I took these with my phone.

Bisous,

LAST DAY

Unfortunately the past three days went by too fast. I had the best time
in Paris in every aspect, from spending quality family time, seeing old friends,
eating eating and eating even more, sightseeing, practicing my terrible French
and shopping of course,  it is the capital of fashion besides the city of love.

Here's what I wore to lunch at Noura, an old family fave, and on the flight back.
I can't get over the sneakers. Imagine a fat kid in a candy store, now times
the enthusiasm by a hundred. You're starting to get the idea.
They're ultra comfortable, the leather is amazing, and visually
 elongate legs.

And here's an extra flattering picture. I have no clue what I was
explaining so vividly.

FALL

Apparently the weather Gods decided to pms on us, causing a mere 18 degree
temperature drop overnight. Adios hooker mini skirts.
Don't get me wrong, I know global warming is bad and all, but I really don't
mind wearing almost de nada April through October. Oh well, maybe I should
change continents. Either way, I spent most of the day agonizing over the French.
They're skinny, they're beautiful, they eat a lot, drink a lot, smoke a lot, dress well
and tend to have big boobs (females that is), I don't know how they do it but
someone should really let me in on this little secret. Any takers?

Spent the day browsing through boutiques, but my night was definitely more
memorable. This city has provided me with a lot of great memories, but I
didn't think that drunk bicycling (2 people, 1 rentable bike...) circa 1am from a
mexican bar in the Marais area, along the Seine down to Saint Michel and the
Odeon was possible. I would love to provide you with some visual context
of this but I think it's for the best if this stays in the realm of your imagination!

The attention whore of the outfit has to be the Valentino purse screaming at you
though. I found her yesterday in the boutique on rue Saint Honore and it was
love at first sight. Never took myself for a Valentino gal, but when you
see a good thing.... never let it go.

EYE OF THE TIGER

My first morning, make that noon (couldn't force myself out of bed), started
on the best note possible. Our hotel is right by Dior and Chanel on Avenue
Montaigne, (great for the eyes, not the wallet) therefore they were my substitutes
for what other people call breakfast. Took a casual stroll down the entire street,
which seems much longer when you walk through each and every store on the
way, and fell in love with endless amounts of garments, jewelry, shoes; you name it.
May I note, my father gave up on us after Celine (only the third stop)....
And not to shock you or anything, I spent the afternoon doing the exact same
thing a few streets away on Rue Saint Honore.

I bet this was my last day of 2012 without tights, aka my worst nightmare.
Even though this time last year I was tanning my butt off in 30+ Venezuelan
weather, I truly can't complain, Paris in the fall  is absolutely amazing.

For those who know me, you have probably witnessed my obsession with
this t-shirt. From the gym, to school, to dinner...you name it: I've worn them
to all. It was probably my best purchase at Heaven Store in Budapest, and
a friend told me Pull and Bear's mens section has very similar ones right now,
so that might not be a bad idea to check out ;)
